MANAGEMENT CONSULTING

PQA is a Canadian management consulting firm serving businesses in North America and internationally for over 17 years.  We are looking for qualified candidates as a Management Consultant Trainee.  PQA will:

• Sign you on as a PQA Associate.  The Associate fee is $30,000.
• Hire you on a 1-year or 2-year employment contract as a Management Accounting Trainee.  Your salary for this first year will be $15,000.

 
• Provide you with a Work-Development Program (see below for details) that will give you skills and work experience that will prepare you for the "real world" of business.  This first year trainee program will also prepare you to become a full-fledged Management Consultant starting in your second year.
• Provide you with a Business opportunity (see below for details) that will enable you to provide PQA's consulting and training services starting in your second year.
• If you are a Graduating International Student and wish to remain in Canada to get North American work experience, and you qualify, to apply for Canadian Landed immigrant status. PQA will assist you in obtaining a Canadian Work Permit, allowing you to work in Canada (and earn 20 points towards your Canadian Landed Immigrant Status) 

 

The Work-Development Program

PQA will provide you with all training needed to understand the operations and quality management Body of Knowledge, including: 
• ISO-9000 Based Quality Management Systems (including TS 16949 for automotive)
• Introduction to Manufacturing Operations in Canadian Businesses 
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Lean Manufacturing
• Theory of Constraints
• Project Management using Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)
• Quality Auditing

 
1. Job Placement - with this level of competence, PQA can confidently place you as a PQA Associate with our clients on variety of assignments in:

• Assistance in helping a PQA Senior Consultant to implement ISO-based management systems.

• Work in a manufacturing plant to apply the new operational and quality skills that you are developing.  This could include being  part of a Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing project team under the guidance of a PQA Senior Consultant.

3. Internationally Recognized Certification Opportunities - with this level of training, you will be able to achieve certification with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a:

Certified Quality Technician (CQT)

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Certified Quality Manager (CQM)

Quality Improvement Associate (QIA)

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)

PQA will instruct assist, coach, and facilitate with you until you achieve your chosen professional certification (one of the above).
 

PQA will pay your membership to the American Society for Quality during your Work-Study Program.
 

PQA will pay your first exam fee for one of the above professional certifications.
 

PQA's Senior Associates will train you, test you, and challenge you in your Operations and Quality Management skills.

4. PQA will help you develop the skills necessary to become a full-fledged consultant.  This will include marketing technique, writing effective proposals, project management and client relations.

The PQA Business Opportunity

After your first year as a Management Consultant Trainee with PQA, you will become a fully qualified PQA Associate and be entitled to:

1. The opportunity to market and deliver PQA's Consulting and Training Services to your country of origin, or other marketing Territory (as available).

 
2. The opportunity to use PQA's customer database to market and deliver PQA's Consulting and Training Services, and PQA's other licensed goods in Canada, United States, or your assigned Territory.

 
3. The continuing support and advice of PQA's Senior Associates, with combined business experience of over 100 years, to advance your professional career, and your satellite consulting business.
